A warm welcome awaits you at the Old Railway Yard Bed and Breakfast near Redruth, Cornwall, once the site of a small coal yard serving Cornwall’s mining heritage.
We are situated close to the village of Lanner, 25 miles from Land’s End, 10 miles from Truro and 8 miles from Falmouth. The North and South coasts of Cornwall are both visible from the house, and the popular seaside town of St Ives is less than half an hour away.
Many attractions are within easy reach of our central location including the world-renowned Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Tate St Ives, the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, the National Seal Sanctuary, the Blue Reef Aquarium, Bodmin Moor and, with an early start, Dartmoor.
The house itself was built in 2007 and offers sea and countryside views with en-suite facilities. We cater for small parties, families or individuals and are open all year round for short or long stays. We were recently awarded AA 4-star accreditation.
Full English or Continental breakfasts are available and evening meals, delicious cream teas or packed lunches can be arranged.
